About Fady Youssef, MD
Dr Youssef is a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr Youssef completed his medical school at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine, where he the stayed on to pursue his training in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr Youssef has a broad array of interests in pulmonary disease that span Pulmonary Hypertension, Thoracic Oncology, Reactive Airway Disease and Interstitial Lung Disease. Dr Youssef is a skilled broncoscopist and performs a wide array of airway procedures that include flexible bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound.
Dr Youssef is also a member of the American College Chest Physicians, the American College of Physician, the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Youssef is also an avid researcher, having presented at numerous international symposia. In 2017, Dr. Youssef's presentation on management of a trachial tumor earned him the coveted "Best Case Presentation" and was featured in the American College of Chest Physicians monthly newspaper. Also, in 2017, Dr. Youssef was awarded the Early Career Professional Development, credited to pulmonologists demonstrating significant potential at the outset of their careers.
Outside of his customary clinical and research duties, Dr. Youssef participates in community clinics sponsored by the Coptic Christian Orthodox Church in which he provides medical services to members of the local community with little access to medical care and treatment.
